There's No Way of Knowing

The mind often wanders,

Would've, could've, should've.

A variety of possibilities shower upon our train of thought,

Yet only one choice can be chosen at a time.

There's no way of knowing if it'll be,

There's only certainty if our choice aligns.

Let the shower meld with your intentions,

Act on the possibility that speaks to you.

The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today,

Think not of the would've, could've, should've.

Your only control is your choice in the now,

Once chosen, power is relinquished to the universe.
