To Each Their Own Experience, Understanding and Perspective
Life is an art, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. As I reflect on common experiences in the world and realize how different they can be for every soul, I’m reminded of the different layers that we each carry. Mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically, every experience holds a different purpose for every being. This is where I know that judgment isn’t beneficial because our reactions are only a scratch on the surface of what is.
I’ve lived my life seeing things differently and guided to dig beneath the surface. I used to think it was due to the circumstances I was dealt but I now realize that it was my interest in truth that guided me. As I dug into the various angles and aspects of my person, it made more sense why I don’t feel easily understood by others. Every being leads their own life, collects their understanding and develops their perspective. We all work based on what we know. Though we can relate to others, we can’t know in the same way.
We all have different experiences while in the same classroom, understand knowledge in our own way and hold perceptions that apply to who we are in the moment. Everything we collect is a part of who we are and is exclusively ours to access.
Don’t strive for understanding from others, for you are the only one who can understand you as you wish to be understood. Relating to others is a comfort and a good way to expand knowledge. We can relate but we don’t always have to know. Keep in mind that to each their own experience, understanding and perspective will be formed. We are all part of the whole and we all make our own unique contributions.
