An Image Reflecting Their Light
An image that haunts the recesses of their mind,
Their shadow is an image reflecting their light.
They have learned to run away from what seems dark,
Yet, their darkness calls them to recognize how they’ve shined.

There was nothing to fear but fear itself.

Something they could come to know and learn from.

There was hope to recognize their love.

It was up to them to embrace it.

Their love would be the light that welcomed their darkness.

Walking the tottering steps to greatness.

Worrying doubts pop up, haunting the recesses of their mind. They had not realized that their shadow reflects their light. Though they were practiced in running away from their shadow, their darkness called to them so they would recognize the ways they did shine. It was a sure sign to not be afraid, they didn’t have to continue fearing fear itself. Fear was something they could get to know and learn from, not something that was against them. This gave them a renewed hope because they recognized their love. They were the only person who could embrace it, their lighting love was something to continuously get to know, the light to welcome the darkness. Every tottering step they took brought them closer to their greatness, they were the only one to embrace it and accept the fullness of who they are. Their shadow, no longer feared, reflected their light as they tottered forward on their journey, forever a reminder of their efforts and success as they grew into who they are.
