Walking the City of Life,
Laden with creations by man.
Buildings, vehicles and lights
An amazing array of sights.
There’s choice to be out or in,
Depending on one’s set journey.
Many sights, both tall and wide,
Though not towering from inside.
The many streets and alleys,
A maze when not following maps.
What happens when one is lost?
Could they afford the travel costs?
Adventurous to wander,
Invigorating and carefree.
Many sights, not always there,
Making cell phones a way to share.
Wander the City of Life,
Creations by man and nature.
Discover what feels good to you,
And live your life remaining true.
A poem on Wandering and Observing submitted to dVerse
I wonder if there is any map to follow in that city…. I for one believe you are always lost in the maze.

True, getting lost helps to learn the city.

Wandering through the city of life opens up quite a lot of possibilities — there are many different ways to be lost as well as to be found. I love how you ended with the thought of discovering what feels good and living by the truth of it. 🙂
