As I ponder the various perspectives on success, I believe that success is an art and can only be determined by the beholder. We’re surrounded by stories about what success is but each person holds different tales in their mind and through experience, they will determine if it is a success for their person.
I’m used to people thinking that life would be better or more successful if my body was different and I could be out and about in this world, but I’ve accepted that that is out of anybody’s control and have chosen to look for wealth in love and spirit. I find my life to be a great success and blessing, and I can’t honestly say that I want to have it changed. Each person has the power to search for enjoyment, accomplish personal goals and determine how their life is a success.
In my experience, I’ve only been depressed or unhappy when I compare my life to the ideal image of success that has been painted into our world. Only then do doubts and dissatisfaction erupt viciously. Take time to examine yourself and determine your own meaning of success before each journey. Embrace your difference and continue with purpose. Only you have the power to determine your success and life.
