Connect with All Living Parts

Goals don't require praise to succeed,
The clutter of flattery makes us lose our way.
The acquirement of products won't help greatness to be freed,
Living without noticing will lead us astray.

Slow down and return to God's simple plan,
Find greatness by searching with our hearts.
Success will be found when, together, we stand,
Life is a reward when we connect with all living parts.

Inspired by six lines from Helen Steiner Rice's poem Give Me the Contentment of Acceptance 

So let me say no to the flattery and praise
And quietly spend the rest of my days
Far from greed and the speed of man,
Who has so distorted God's simple plan,
And let me be great in the eyes of You, Lord,
For that is the richest, most priceless reward.
