I Try My Best

Best I can't be always, but I will try my best
I don't know all outcomes, but I make good attempts
I will aim for best with the sums of perceptions
Until visions are complete, I know not to rest
I accept times when I must tune my reception
Despite all efforts, from mistakes I'm not exempt
In whatever journey I'm on, I try my best

  1. You are blessed with such a wonderful attitude which we know helps us through difficulty. The words you chose to end each line are inspirational in themselves. I confess the only thing I do best these days is examine all the things for which I didn’t do my best. If I look back over the almost 29 years since my disability began, I see endurance but wonder what more there was to be done.

    1. When I look back and feel regret, I stop myself to remember that the person I was then is different to my person now. It reminds me that I probably did do my best back then, even if I view it differently now. And yes, our endurance at whatever moment is always worthy of our recognition. We are who we are and beautiful because of it 🌞
