Riding the currents in the sky,
Gliding by with wings spread wide.
Engulfed by the sights that protrude my vision,
Absorbing the vastness of what Life entails.
Floating in directions beyond the horizon,
Soaring with confidence in what will be.
Assured that all have a role to play,
Accepting the simplicity of Life's wonders
Centering on the spirit within
Connecting with all that is presented
Raised to join all that surrounds
Respecting my responsibility in Life's continuation.
I started writing this poem by imagining my perspective as a bird. As I started to feel the experience, my thoughts led me to center on myself, and reflect on the roles each life form holds and my need to take responsibility in ensuring Life's continuation. This was an interesting experience of imagination and connection.
