For the month of November, I’ve chosen Go Green as my theme for the month. Go Green is an initiative that is being encouraged worldwide. With the recent reminder of where/how we’ve gone wrong and the signs for a new beginning awakening, I want to share the inspirations I’ve picked up and put to use in the past year or so.
For me, going green means to be more conscious of my relation to nature and how my actions affect my environment. It is an exploration of the interconnectivity that our world possesses. I know I can’t accomplish massive changes on my own, but I can choose to make small changes to be a contribution.
The first steps I took to Go Green was in getting curious and connecting myself with various resources that supported a resolution to the climate crisis. Through volunteering my time and attention, I’ve learned many things about the climate crisis and uncovered simple ways to make my contribution and give our planet a voice. I’ve also enjoyed getting out into nature and relating to the life that surrounds me, even from behind closed doors.
I’d like to encourage everyone to become one with nature as we were always meant to be and take time to appreciate the life that surrounds you. I believe that every effort we make will give back and restore what we take.
I recycle and use Geothermal heating and air conditioning! Great article! 😊
