For the month of October, I’ve chosen the contrast of wet and dry as the theme of the month because I feel that this is the month when we let go of the dry Summer heat and transition into new moisture levels to accommodate the changing season.
When I think of wet, I relate moisture to activity. I find rainfalls are renewal where changes are added into what I know. I find life dry and lifeless when I’m stuck in a routine and desire change.
Whatever the season, wet and dry work hand in hand to balance what is, and both are necessary whether desired or not. Appreciate the abundance of activity as water to keep life flowing and respect times of routine as the dryness that awaits the new. Whether we’re drenched or parched, we are alive to enjoy the growth.
