Don't calm When emotions are hot Let the heat soar Without getting caught Necessary for full experience To cycle hot and cold Sometimes, it's a repeat Wise lessons never get old When we witness someone else going through emotional pain, we often rush to calm them, a difficult task when emotions are hot. I find that these are the times to let the emotions soar and, whether for yourself or another, stay conscious to not get caught in the emotions released. Though we strive to return to a calm, a full experience offers all measures, positive and negative. To feel the heat helps us to know that we want to cool down. Sometimes, we recognize the experience as a repeat, making us aware that we're still learning. Wise lessons are persistent and of great value. Happy Feeling, everyone!
