Tornado Visualization

Are you feeling disconnected from your dreams? Is the energy around you starting to feel turbulent? Take a moment to sit and restore your hope.

Sit in a comfortable position, close your eyes and start steadying your breath. When you reach your rhythm, imagine your troubles gathering around you, webbed together as a gray fog swirling around you. Observe this turbulence as if you were in the center of a tornado, then look above you and notice the funnel of your escape.

With each breath in, match the energy around you within yourself and imagine yourself floating higher to the top with each breath you release.

When you’ve made your exit, imagine yourself sitting on a cloud above the tornado and take a moment to observe it’s whirling energy below you. Say goodbye to what was and dedicate each breath you release as a thanks to the tornado that helped you rise above.

When you’ve finished with the tornado, take a look at the dark sky around you and find the stars that light the darkness. Befriend these stars, breathe in their light and let yourself float among the stars while you enjoy your distance from the world that was. Be happy to be a star among many others and trust that you can always rise above when the time is right. 

When you feel content and calm, sink yourself back into your world, open your eyes and enjoy what you have around you.
