A tree has many branches, A journey has many paths, A perspective has many angles, A situation has many aspects


A tree has many branches
That reach out in all directions
It balances it all with strong roots
All have many, which are overlooked

A journey has many paths
That navigate to and from to reach all directions
It offers a road that visits past and present
All have many, which are overlooked

A perspective has many angles
That threads with collected experience to make a whole
It starts a realization with a seed of curiosity
All have many, which are overlooked

A situation has many aspects
An onion layered to uncover true meaning
It offers new perspective on a journey encompassing entirety
All have many, which are overlooked


I find that when faced with an eruption, people tend to scramble for answers and miss out on what's being presented. This made me think of the first lines to my stanzas. By limiting our thoughts with immediate answers, we miss out on what's right in front of us. Everything happens for a reason and taking time to uncover that reason is one of the greatest gifts life constantly offers. There's always an opportunity to grow!
