Interconnection

As I dedicated myself to try a little free-form stitching, I chose an old pattern to alter. Thinking of all the old threads I chose and seeing the picture come together, I reflected on the interconnectivity of life. It was fun watching the pattern come together and adding something new to bloom in the middle. (Originally, it was a pattern for a frame but I didn’t want to waste the middle)

I love the pattern and the colours, they work so well together. There’s is a hint of the Celtic in how I receive it.
