If we allowed our lawns to be blanketed by leaves before the Winter, we let their nutrients cycle back into Mother Earth while offering other species nutrients for survival. It’s messy walking through Nature’s beauty until we take time to recognize why it’s there. A beautiful life goes beyond what we perceive with our eyes and speaks in mysterious ways. Choose to stop and listen to be adorned with the gifts your heart desires.
I’ve been reading articles advising us to not rake leaves and why. I never did understand why a tidy lawn was required, I felt it hid the great beauty that Life offers and disconnects us from its purpose. Here is a link to one of the articles I read: https://www.almanac.com/news/home-health/natural-living/what-do-fall-leaves?trk_msg=F6UNEQKI82N47DDDNV4TB2GVSO&trk_contact=1JIQAUUCVQ33TF20OEGF0ICJMK&trk_module=new&trk_sid=DJ312I6H24GQ21A7ENRPDMFBLC&utm_source=Listrak&utm_medium=Email&utm_term=Raking+Leaves&utm_campaign=Companion+Newsletter&utm_content=10-18-2020
