“When we treat people merely as they are, they will remain as they are. When we treat them as if they were what they should be, they will become what they should be.” -Thomas S. Monson
Imagine they’re stars
Believe that they are
Respect
See them going far
Even holding scars
Accept
They’ll be above par
Become what they are
Respect
It’s okay to imagine others as stars for they can feel what we believe. Respect the potential they hold within and be open to watching them go far in whatever path they choose; they will be great when you accept. They can be exceptional when they’re being who they are; respect the gift that they are.
My mom once told me, “Be a star.” I also like the I Ching: “Be not sad. Be like the sun at midday.” 🙏
