For the month of August, I chose Patience for my virtuous theme.
To me, patience is the ability to allow Life to happen in its intended succession. It requires trust and courage to wait patiently and not push for what’s desired, a personal test of will.
For most of my life, I believed in what could be and my circumstances kept telling me it isn’t the time. When I chose to push, I didn’t succeed and had to walk away with a lesson. When I learned to trust and wait, success came in unexpected and rewarding ways. Waiting to let all the proper pieces fall into place is more successful than rushing forward with a broken plan. It’s important to evolve slowly with Life to enjoy the complete experience.
Patience is necessary to feel the life around you and build trust in yourself and environment. Follow your heart, be driven and remember to let Life take its course. Enjoy the experience!
