Chamber of Secrets

Of all the adventures that have passed by,

I’ve had no time to even ask why.

Flying a car right into the Whomping Willow,

On that day, I wished for a pillow.

“Oh, Potter, you rotter, oh what have you done?”

I froze when I heard, for I was stunned.

Another year unfolded before my eyes,

And I didn’t know if it’d be my demise.

Alone in the Chamber of Secrets, forsaken by his friends,

I was determined to continue until I reached the end

I couldn’t allow her skeleton to lie in the Chamber forever,

Succumb to darkness, I would never.

When all was well after visiting the mystery’s every pocket,

The pixies shot in every direction like rockets.

We were once again safely together,

Happy in not letting darkness be a bother.

Inspired by 5 random lines from the book Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

“Flying a car right into the Whomping Willow”, “Oh, Potter, you rotter, oh what have you done?”, “Alone, in the chamber of Secrets, forsaken by his friends”, “Her skeleton will lie in the Chamber forever” and “The pixies shot in every direction like rockets”

I’ve never read anything Harry Potter, but I loved this poem.
