Empathy is not Endorsement

I found Dylan Marron to be an inspiration with how he openly shared who he is and embraced the negativity sent his way to learn more. He brings up a good point that we can’t assume to know another person based on what we see on media and it’s important to be respectful in how we respond because how would we feel receiving it? Empathy isn’t an easy task and it’s a tool to grow into the best version of ourselves.
