Gifts of Life

Many gifts of Life to keep

With the love that we reap

Often an abundance, to our dismay

Inspiring reflection that runs deep

Treats, hard to store in a keep

To loved ones, it seeps

Never staying at bay

Gifts of Life to keep

At dVerse, Kim prompted us to write a quadrille, poem of 44 words, using the word keep.

Yes, and the best way to keep it is to share😊

The repetition of the prompt word keeps this poem focused and emphasises the message. As Dwight said, life and love are wonderful gifts to keep.

I like the thought of reaping that abundance.

We cannot store everything in the end… it doesn’t work
