What do I create in this life of mine?
But a myriad of experiences, in which to define
Trinkets to add to my portrait
Skills I can choose to refine
Where do I wish for my life to lead?
To desire paradise would be ideal, indeed.
A life only good, without bad
Would stray the path towards greed
The balance I seek is within sight
To attain it would make life bright
Appreciation to all that’s given
Would give darkness a sure light.

I believe we all try to find that balance – better said than done though. Thanks for sharing.

I enjoyed the conversational rhythms in this Astrid – an area I have expired in the past too… Brought back echoes for me…
