Search for Balance

He strived to do great things and made others proud, yet he wasn’t drawn to the attention of success. He had to consult himself to determine his life, listening to others was a distraction.

He used to follow his peers and compete for success, aiming to be the best. In one moment, he succeeded, and its results turned him away from publicized achievements.

He then decided it wasn’t best to excel yet met a hollow existence without challenge or celebration. He felt stuck and pondered on a method for his freedom. Balance seemed to be his key and so he whispered, “Feast, and your halls are crowded; fast, and the world goes by. I must find a way to accept both so that I may continue and always feel allowed to try.”
