It’s easy to look and assume

Yet hard to bravely draw back the curtains

The many layers that hang to protect

When all is thunderous and uncertain

It’s simple to assign a role

Without knowing a direction

The role feels complete, though not yet started

It forms an ambiguous selection

What isn’t known can become reality

A myriad of sights to tantalize the mind

The temptations in which to lure

To what in your heart do you wish to bind?

Look twice and reflect before you know

Absorb it fully to begin anew

The lessons offered for growth

Are meant for you to see what’s true.
