Love Deserves Respect

There’s no love that shouldn’t be accepted, all love deserves to be respected.

There is no love that shouldn’t be accepted, it’s subjective to individual perspectives, but consists of no general purpose to offend or dishonour. Interpretation muddled by past experiences or lessons taught aren’t facts of what is for everyone, they’re personal opinions built with emotions that haven’t been dealt with.

Not all love are presented in ways we expect. Sometimes our perspective is set, and gestures are misinterpreted because we’re closed to other perspectives. We don’t align immediately to all others, but respecting their gesture opens our mind to their intentions. Why would she say I have to do that? That’s hard, how could that be good for me? In a moment when love is unexpected, it feels absurd as it interrupts your train of thought, but when you accept and respect, your mind grows with recognition. Oh, I suppose she’s right, maybe I should try it to see what happens.

Gestures of love are offered in many forms and there are times when we’re prone to reject it, especially when we haven’t realized our potential. Despite the urge to push it away, respecting it is to understand it. Love often feels like a hard shove in the moment, but acceptance melts the hardness and reveals the treasures it offers. How could he say he believes I can do that? Okay, fine, I’ll try what he says. The small action of trying is the first step to discovering and it makes success more possible.

There will be times when love creates misunderstanding, and that’s okay. Maybe, you’re both meant to learn together. Maybe if I share my perspective with him, he will understand what I mean. Maybe, we’ll find a solution together instead. A smooth journey doesn’t ensure growth, but raking the path together strengthens the love bond, leaving no room for separation.

For all the times love is offered to you, no matter how it feels in the moment, remember that there’s no general purpose to offend and dishonour. Respect the gesture you’re offered and choose your action for that moment. Love is all around you, cherish it and make it your own.
