As the roller coaster dives down deep
The thrill of excitement rises high
Who would’ve thought it wasn’t a danger to go steep?
That it’s simply a daring leap
To gain experience because you try
As your excitement seeps
Others give a disgruntled sigh
They would like for you to stay within your keep
But, if you did, you’d never gain your heaps
You’d end up a person ready to comply
The dare often creeps
And, to you, it implies
The rewards it’s bound to reap
How are you to not want to dive deep,
When you feel loved every time life intensifies?
Stare from above at the slope that’s steep
Figure out what it could all signify
The fare may not always be cheap
But hard work will earn your keep
And, through it, your life will be personified
An interesting poem ‘cos I’ve been on a rollercoaster recently and sometimes it seems no matter how hard I work, earning my keep eludes me.

No worries, you’re still earning. They seem small for now, but they’ll build for later. Enjoy your ride 😀
