Clash of Expectations

The clash of expectations

When they’re not your own

Tests your limitations

“Isn’t it already shown?

Must I listen to interpretations?”

Opinions can be expressed

Though it’s a tribute to share

Some may need to be repressed

As an alternate way to care

For nobody wants disbeliefs pressed

Regard your lack of control

Respect the adventure others take

There’s a limit to how much you can dole

For it’s still their journey to make

On their own, they will become whole

Respect the adventure others take – love this line, just what a good friend needs to do to show support

such wisdom-filled lines. indeed, we have to be sensitive before we let out words. and opinions.

Nice last line reminding us that they can and will become whole on their own.

Listening to others … it is the best lesson we can have.

Sometimes it is best to let others go on their own way. Yes respect their adventures and suppor the choices they make as friends or relatives. In the end, they may thank you for the space.

We must all make our own way, and allow others the same opportunity… like your words Astrid… 🙂
