We’re not always prepared for a fight

Though we’re aware our energy is might

We want to blend in the shadows

Not be responsible for life in the meadows

We want to throw in the towel and flee

But then we’d have to face reality

We don’t prefer to sit and laze

We don’t want life to be a controversial haze

We always stay to see what happens

Depending upon uncertain fortunes

We hold faith that life remains fair

As long as we’re willing to endure what life bares
