I will be loved for who I am
Difference is adversity
I’m not given anything I can’t handle
Don’t feel sorry for my epilepsy and stroke
There’s always a way up after a fall
There is no learning without unexpected shock
I’m not the only person to experience challenges
Everyone will handle what they have when it arrives
We are all survivors
Everyone will handle what they have when it arrives
I’m not the only person to experience challenges
There is no learning without unexpected shock
There’s always a way up after a fall
Don’t feel sorry for my epilepsy and stroke
I’m not given anything I can’t handle
Difference is adversity
I will be loved for who I am

Nice work Astrid. The reversal works really well. Difference does sometimes create adversity… Our attitude determines the outcome. You have a great attitude!! Keep it up.

I love the calm perspective of this that is a gift of serious illness, the realization that all of us carry burdens and go through hard times. Hard-won self compassion offered to the others who may be suffering or who will one day. Beautifully written.

Thanks, Victoria. It took a long time to realize that everyone has trials and survives, no matter how different they may appear.

Very nice reversal switching on that middle line asserting that we are all survivors.
