Amidst the shadows of hovering trees,
Where’s the light to help see?
An array of paths that aren’t concrete
Which direction should one beseech?
Atop routes of dirt and rocks one must trudge
To get darkness to budge.
What will one realize at the end?
Without the journey, one can’t judge.
It’s always the journey that teaches us most.

And with no purpose for the journey, one will not complete it too ~

True, sometimes the journey is to find a purpose

Nice work. Reminds me of the old spiritual…Nobody Knows the Trouble I’ve Seen!
