What’s the Worth in Feeling Sorry?

What’s the worth in feeling sorry for a person with a hard situation? Will it change their situation? Will it motivate them to keep living? Care inspires people to be compassionate, but there isn’t anything a person can do to control what life delivers. Everybody has an ideal vision of what life should be, yet the journey includes the unexpected.

As loving as concern is, emphasis on what isn’t, or an ideal outcome disappoints and reduces the faith to continue. Concentration on desires distracts reality, creating expectations for what isn’t currently possible. It doesn’t mean that it’s never possible, it just may not be time yet. If a person isn’t completely ready, how will they accept the gifts a miracle brings?

Feeling sorry when circumstances are shocking highlights negativity without being conscious of the gifts presented. Life isn’t how we perceive it, but it’s filled with experiences to balance us. Don’t focus on what wasn’t possible, search for an alternate path to success. Who’s to say that a different path isn’t filled with the lessons we require?

Circumstances can appear difficult, but skills are developed through the practice of using the resources we’re provided. Everyone is born with resources and not all of them are external. It isn’t wise to forget the basic senses provided. Even if one doesn’t function, the other senses will accommodate the situation. Do abilities progress with the privilege of receiving everything we desire?

Be loving to the people around you but control the compassion you feel. Emphasis on what can’t be isn’t desired, but everybody strives for confidence in their dreams. What another person has may not be what you desire for them, but if they received it, then they have the potential to see it through. Don’t feel sorry for strenuous circumstances, recognize the hidden ambition and motivate it to grow. We all receive complex situations because we’re capable and unique. Embrace your hardship and patiently accept the life gifts meant for you.
