What Our Tree Grows

Everybody has a dream to cultivate and its growth is as gradual and rewarding as a tree. How our tree matures is easy to imagine, but we tend to forget where our tree is rooted. Considering the roots of our labor, we’ll identify our purpose, recognize our fertilization and appreciate our success.

A purpose exists when we embed a seed into the earth. Whether it’s the fruits that will blossom or the enjoyment of gardening, the root of our purpose is ingrained in our spirit. I want this tree to grow so I can share its fruits, feed my family and witness my accomplishment.

As we anticipate success, it’s easy to concentrate on the branches that grow and reach for the light. We recognize what is within our sight, but we forget about the foundational roots that keep our tree in place. Roots, just like the tree, continuously evolve and contribute to the fruits of success. It’s because of my belief in family that I’m willing to support my tree.

Even when the branches have elevated to a separate level, and are encountered by turbulent storms, the roots provide a core support, so it can persevere in its place. The values our roots carry are reminders of who we are and what we want to be. Branches are extensions of a tree that bears the fruits of our adventure but are still connected to the roots that feeds from the earth. It’s understandable to take from what we’re given if we’re willing to reproduce and contribute to the world.

Don’t only place concentration on the fruits your tree will bear, remember the intentions implanted in your soul and strive to vegetate a fulfilling environment. Our trees will grow in various forms and, due to the development of our purpose, we have the strength to endure all storms life provides. Cultivate your dream with a root in your heart, embrace the evolution your tree experiences and appreciate your blossoms. Whichever way the tree will grow, heed the roots for the gifts it endows.
