Irrational BeliefKnowledge and experience doesn’t constitute an individual’s level of intelligence, they are factors in life that reinforce the unique gifts that an individual possesses. Curiosity, questions and scattered thoughts derived from a child doesn’t indicate a lack of intelligence, it demonstrates their ability to think and their interest to learn. A solid belief that a person is incapable due to inexperience develops into an irrational mentality that life is hard and impossible, a perspective that diminishes self-esteem. Exploration is required to realize abilities and acquire independence.

Every individual commences their life with the interest to obtain more knowledge and strives towards independence. The desire to learn encourages them to observe. A youthful innocence expresses a simplistic wisdom that weakens with age. Sometimes advice from a child is helpful because it admonishes the habit of complicating our thoughts and reminds us that exploration are ways to grow.

It will be obvious to a child that they possess some inability and an atmosphere that is loving and respectful will be desired to progress. Constant reminders of inability will solidify beliefs into a limitations. Console their fears and applaud their efforts.  Trust in their potential and nourish the gifts they are prepared to express.

Every new journey will be ambivalent and ensures discovery. Aspirations are not accomplished immediately but be confident that development is becoming. Consistently provide a patient, loving support and harvest a certitude in the treasures that life provides to raise a competent, independent individual.

Continue to believe in the potential of every individual, even if they don’t coincide with you in the moment. Every person, young or old, will encounter new discoveries to welcome. Accept that knowledge and experience are factors to elevate gifts and enhance your environment with the assurance that individual potential is obtainable. Cherish your journey of life and encourage everyone around you to appreciate their individual journey.
